K.W.V.A. of Frederick County, Maryland, Inc.
- Meeting Minutes -

Minutes of Executive Committee Meeting
Col. William E. Weber Chapter 142, KWVA
March 6, 2018

In Attendance: Vice Commander Becker, Secretary Wienhoff, Treasurer Eader, Chipley, Fox, Cody, , Malavenda, Murphy and Kephart
Unable to Attend: Commander Mount, Rinehart

Vice Commander Becker called the meeting to order at 11:35 am.

Minutes of the February 6, 2018 meeting were presented by Secretary Wienhoff and were approved on a motion by Eader, second by Malavenda.

The Treasurerís Report consisting of the Balance Sheet for February 28, 2018 Income and Expense Report for February 2018 were distributed. Treasurer Eader provided a recap of amounts collected in Wall of Remembrance jars. The total was just a few dollars short of $400 so a check for that amount will be presented to Col. Weber at the March Member Meeting. The report was approved by a motion of Wienhoff, second by Becker.

Welfare Chairman Rinehart could not attend.

Vice Commander Becker reviewed an email from Commander Mount concerning a Highway Sign certificate of deposit with State Farm which is coming due and his request for guidance as to what action should be taken regarding reinvestment. Consensus was to just deposit the proceeds into an existing Highway Sign savings account with ING. Vice Commander Becker will advise Commander Mount.

Treasurer Eader suggested it would be advisable to have information readily available regarding the status of Chapter dues for members who are not Life Members of the Chapter so members could be advised of amount owed.
